British Heart Foundation: Heart Matters shoot & video

Heart Matters is a magazine dedicated to providing information to those people living with a heart condition. It achieves this through telling real life stories, bringing awareness to the latest medical developments, highlighting key research findings and offering nutritional advice.

This feature about ‘Making Chemo Safer’ was a particularly moving example of real life stories as we see Philippa Coffey share her story of being given the all clear from cancer but to then be diagnosed with heart failure - a result of the chemo she was given to treat the cancer. Dr Timm, who is funded by BHF to find ways to spot signs of damage to the heart following chemo, was able to show Philippa her lab and talk about the progress she has made.
